A design of slave VMEbus interface circuitry based on GAL chip has been introduced briefly in this paper. This interface circuitry can support 16 bit single cycle data transfer. It is also able to request interrupt and read interrupt data. The experiment with a VMEBus system is completed, in which the circuitry is used as channels for data transfer. The experiment results show that the circuitry achieves the expected functions.
