The earned value measure is an efficient project progress monitoring indicator and method. In this paper, the progress of the different node is analyzed by the earned value measure and vanguard line method. Combined with engineering project, it looks for lag reasons, formulates measures for rectifying, judges whether it meets the requirements of schedule and proofs the scientificalness of corrective measures. Good supervision engineers should flexibly use earned value measure and vanguard line method to analyze and inspect schedule in the process of schedule control.
