The new voltage source of continuous bi-directional adjustable static var compensator(SVC) is introduced.Com-pared to the traditional SVC,the new voltage source of continuous two-way adjustable SVC has significant advantages.This paper elaborates the basic principle of the space vector pulse width modulation (SVPWM).Compared to the traditional PWM technology,SVPWM is an optimized PWM control technology and has the advantages of high utilization rate,less harmonic,simple control,and easy to realize the digitalization.The Simulink is used to simulation analysis.The experimental results show this SVC has its own advantages,and it can regulate the voltage smoothly and continually.
