This paper briefly illustrated the development of environment protection and water-soil conservation supervision of hydropower projects in China. On the basis of summarization of the working experience of the development of environ-ment protection and water-soil conservation supervision of hydropower projects in China in recent years, this paper puts forward the meaning, content, working methods, work systems and so on of environment protection and water-soil conser-vation supervision of hydropower project, which provides the reference for the future hydropower projects.
