随着科技发展,三维可视化地质建模技术的开发与应用会越来越受重视.文中通过某一个工程实例简单介绍了CATIA软件在水利工程地质建模方面的应用过程,总结了此软件建立地质模型的操作步骤与相关功能命令的使用方法技巧.整个流程表明:CATIA软件能够比较快速地建立三维地质模型,反映真实的地貌特征,从而在水利工程地质模型方面的应用前景广阔.

Along with the development of science and technology, more and more attentions are to be paid on the technology of 3D visual geological modeling. The process of the application of CATIA software to the geological modeling of the water resources and hydropower engineering is briefly described herein through an actual engineering case; in which the operation steps, skills and methods to establish a 3D geological model are summarized. The whole process shows that the 3D geological model can be quickly built up by CATIA, and then the real geomorphic features can be reflected as well. Consequently, the CATIA software has a better prospect of the application to the geological modeling of the water resources and hydropower engineering.
