According to the different types of polyacrylamide,the synthesis and application of polyacrylamide in domestic water treatment field were reviewed.Now the main constituents of sewage were electronegative organic matter,and cationic polyacrylamide was still the hotspot of research.The cationic polyacrylamide promising research development trend and direction were forecasted.
