The feasibility of recovering waste heat of fiberglass furnace cooling water is analyzed, and the technology and benefits of using plate heat exchangers to recover this waste heat for air conditioning for fiber drawing are described. The actual use of the renovated system for half a year has demonstrated that this technology can recover a lot of waste heat and reduce the product cost, resulting in remarkable economic and social benefits.
