Tin-based oxide (SnO_x) anode film is attracting excessive attentions for its higher melting point, higher specific capacity, well-security, easy preparation for all solid state thin film lithium ion battery. In this paper, the characteristics and intercalating Li mechanism of SnO_x anode material were briefly introduced, and the structure and electrochemical properties of SnO_x thin films prepared by different processes were focused. The purpose was to optimize the process of high performance anode thin films and provide some illuminations and suggestions for all solid state thin film lithium ionic battery research and development.
