Through the comparative tests for rice between the dry farming with whole growing stage covering farmland by plastic films, half growing stage covering farmland by plastic films, dry farming with no-covering and water cultivation; the law of water consumption of rice is researched. The quantities of water saving and raising yield of rice are calculated. And the economical benefit is analyzed. Finally the caltivation mode suitable for the local areas is proposed.
