The paper introduces the household solar PV lighting system and presents some measure of the system design.It focuses on design of the controller and the DC-AC inverter.The practical circuit of fluorescent lamp powered by solar PV system and it's main technical characteristics,which has been installed in Xingjiang and Tibet and other region as the solar PV technology demonstration project,are presented.Some of the other typical circuits of energy saving lamp powered by solar energy are also given in the paper.
