Brief review is made about the app lication of low chromemultielement alloy balls in Fankou Lead-zinc Mine.The ap plication has shown that compared with high chrome multielement alloy balls and medium manganese rare-earth magnesium cast balls,the application of low chrome multielement alloy balls in the wet grinding of metal mines is more advantageous and has lower grinding cost.Finally,the advantages of practicing the contract p olicy of the grinding medium cost per ton of treated material in reducing the st ock and saving the circulating fund are described.
