This paper compares soft coal and coke using in gas making intwo-stage water gas generator in economy and technique. Using coke not only increases the gasification efficiency by 25 percent and economic benefit by 14 percent but also decreases the operating difficulty and environmental pollution when the production load is seriously insufficient.
