在核反应堆中辐照高纯铼金属带,185Re和187Re通过(n,γ)反应后,经β衰变产生186Os和188Os,用H2O2和H2SO4将Re带溶解并同时将186Os和188Os蒸馏出,首先用20%NaOH溶液吸收,然后再将碱吸收液重新蒸馏,最后将186Os和188Os混合同位素保存在25%HCl介质中,用负离子热电离质谱仪(NTIMS)标定其含量及同位素丰度。结果表明,91.4mg的高纯铼金属带,在辐照的累积通量为1.32×1018n/cm2时,可产生Os8.46 μg,其186Os和188Os的同位素丰度分别为60.89%和38.63%。

The process of preparation of the solution of mixed isotopes of186Os and 188Os in addition to calibration of osmium in it was described. High pure metal rhenium filament was irradiated in reactor and then dissolved in dilute H2O2 and H2SO4 after nearly 5 months decay. Distilled 186Os and 188Os were trapped in 20% NaOH and then distilled again. Finally, 186Os and 188Os were reserved in 25% HCl medium. Negative ion therminoization mass spectrometry was used to measure the abundance and content of osmium in the solution. The final result showed that 91.4 mg Re could yield 8.46 μg Os in which the abundance of 186Os and 188Os were 60.89% and 38.63%, respectively, when integral influx was 1.32×1018 n/cm2.
