提升小波被称为第二代小波,拥有传统小波的优点,却比传统小波概念简单,计算量大大减小,算法更易于硬件实现,是实现实时图像融合系统的有效手段。针对可见光与红外图像融合这个研究热点,提出了一种基于提升小波变换的图像融合算法。实验结果表明,该算法使得融合图像最大限度地包含了源图的信息,且边缘信息也被很好地保留了,是一种高效的融合算法。

The lifting wavelet,as the second generation of wavelet,not only has the advantages of traditional wavelet,but also has simple concept and low calculated amount.It can easily realize the image fusion system.For the research focus on image fusion between visible image and infrared image,a novel fusion algorithm based on lifting wavelet transform was proposed.Experimental results show that the fused image using this algorithm has maximum information from source images,and the marginal information was also reserved well.It's a efficient fusion method.
