This paper describes the basic features of the magnetic field in the liquid/solid zone during the roll-casting of aluminum,and the moving path of the fluid and the coupling mode between the liquid and solid phases with their influences on the liquid/solid boundary discussed.The influence of sine wave disturbance on the stability of the liquid/solid boundary is discussed.
