2006年对30条版纳鱼螈Ichthyophis bannanica进行饲养观察,发现版纳鱼螈生长速度缓慢,在非冬眠期体长月增长5.84 mm± 3.0 mm,体重月增长1.31 g± 0.92 g;活动规律受温度影响大,食性单一,具有冬眠和蜕皮的现象.
2006年對30條版納魚螈Ichthyophis bannanica進行飼養觀察,髮現版納魚螈生長速度緩慢,在非鼕眠期體長月增長5.84 mm± 3.0 mm,體重月增長1.31 g± 0.92 g;活動規律受溫度影響大,食性單一,具有鼕眠和蛻皮的現象.

A total of 30 individuals of Ichthyophis bannanicaus reared in the laboratory were observed in 2006. The data clearly revealed that I. bannanica grew slowly, and their body length increased 5.84 mm± 3.0 mm per month and body weight increased 1.31 g± 0.92 g per month in non-hibernating seasons. The results also suggested that temperature could affect their activity; they fed on a single source of food in the laboratory and hibernated in winter; the phenomenon that the cuticle of their skin molted was observed.
