当网络规模较大且负载变化频繁时,802.11e标准中的EDCA建议值不足以满足业务需求,低优先级业务受到影响很大,且信道利用率不高.为了解决这一问题,提出一种新的自适应调节机制--a-EDCA机制:接入点(AP)根据网络当前吞吐量变化量的大小,自动调节EDCA参数中竞争窗口参数值,把新的调节信息广播到各个站点,各站点以新的参数来重新竞争信道资源.仿真结果验证了负载变化频繁的网络处于高负荷状态下,a-EDCA机制的效果.

When the network load changed frequently and number of stations increased, the enhanced distributed channel ac-cess parameters values in Std 802.11e is not sufficient to satisfy the requirements of travel needs. Low-priority classes traffic was not served, and the channel utilization was low in high traffic loads. To solve the problem, a MAC adjustment scheme is proposed, called a-EDCA. As soon as the access point monitored an drop in throughput, adapted the CWs based on the network conditions, and broadcasted to all stations, which receiving the updated parameter values contended for the medium again. Simulation results show the a-EDCA effect.
