暴发性1型糖尿病是1型糖尿病的一个少见亚型,主要特征是短时期内(多数＜7 d)急骤出现极度增高的血糖、严重的糖尿病酮症酸中毒以及水、电和酸碱平衡紊乱,病情危重凶险,发病时糖化血红蛋白A1c水平几乎正常,胰岛素自身抗体多阴性,胰岛β细胞功能完全破坏,血清C肽水平很低,治疗必须应用胰岛素.

Fulminant type 1 diabetes is a seldom seen subtype of type 1 diabetes. Its main features are that blood glucose increases excessively in a short time (mostly within 7 days), with severe diabetic ketoacidosis,disturbance of hydro-electrolytes and acid-base disbalance. Patient's condition is severe and dangerous. The level of HbA1c is almost normal at onset, and insulin autoantibodies are mostly negative. The function of β cells is destroyed completely and serum C peptide is so low that patients must be treated with insulin.
