The methods of engineering estimate cost of water project include the method of quota and the method of physical quantity analysis,the former has been widely used in China,the latter is an introduced concept.The thesis concentrates on comparative advantages and disadvantages of two methods by combining water project investment and cost management systems, pointes out the contents that the two methods need to improve respectively, and summarizes the current methodology.The application timing, conditions and contents of the method of physical quantity analysis are mentioned,the issues need to be done aher its wide use also are addressed.
