随着居住环境的清洁度越来越高,疫苗及抗生素的广泛运用,人类所患传染性及感染性疾病不断下降.但与此同时,过敏性疾病与自身免疫性疾病的发病率却在不断上升.20世纪末期由英国科学家提出的"卫生假说"被广泛用来解释这一反向相关的联系.

With increasingly improved living environment surrounding us and widespread use of vaccine and antibiotics.the likelihood of suffering infectious diseases is dramatically decreased.However,the ineidenee of allergic or atopic diseases and autoinunune diseases are in fact in increase,a phenomenon which is oelled "Hygiene Hypothesis".In this article.we summarize and discuss the role of helminth infection in"Hygiene hypothesis",along with its related immunologic mechanisms.
