从桦褐孔菌子实体得到的多糖粗提物(polysaccharides from Inonotus obliquus, PIO)具有清除·OH、抑制自发性和Fe2+-Cys诱导过氧化脂质生成和减轻肝线粒体肿胀的效果.通过实验推测其抗氧化的机制是通过清除·OH,抑制·OH导致的过氧化从而保护膜系统.

A crude polysaccharide fraction (PIO) from fruit bodies of the medicinal mushroom, Inonotus obliquus, exhibited strong ·OH scavenging activity as measured by the salicylic acid method. PIO also inhibited endogenous and Fe2+-Cys-induced lipid peroxidation, and mitochondrial swelling induced by the Fe2+- vitamin C system. It is proposed that the underlying anti-oxidation mechanism involves the initial elimination of ·OH radicals, which in turn suppresses peroxidation and protects membrane systems.
