白垩状结构碳酸盐岩是一种白色或淡色疏松、酥脆、多微孔的灰岩.狭义自垩状结构灰岩是指深水盆地、陆棚斜坡及内台地局限海(如潟湖)相中形成的白垩状微孔隙灰泥岩及粒泥岩.广义白垩状结构灰岩指盆地相和陆棚相中包括生物礁、滩的各种沉积体内各种沉积组构产生的白垩状灰岩,也包括白垩状去白云化灰岩及(真)白垩.综合各国学者的有关研究资料,建议将白垩状结构化定义为:"碳酸盐沉积物和碳酸盐岩中的镁方解石和文石在不同成岩阶段通过新生变形而转变成低镁方解石微晶和微亮晶格架,并在其中产生和保存晶间孔喉网络的作用;强化白垩状结构化是指微晶和微亮晶格架受到进一步溶蚀和淋滤,从而形成次生溶蚀孔隙网络的作用".论述了世界各地的地史中不同成岩阶段白垩状结构碳酸盐岩成岩环境的例证和白垩状结构化成因.
白堊狀結構碳痠鹽巖是一種白色或淡色疏鬆、酥脆、多微孔的灰巖.狹義自堊狀結構灰巖是指深水盆地、陸棚斜坡及內檯地跼限海(如潟湖)相中形成的白堊狀微孔隙灰泥巖及粒泥巖.廣義白堊狀結構灰巖指盆地相和陸棚相中包括生物礁、灘的各種沉積體內各種沉積組構產生的白堊狀灰巖,也包括白堊狀去白雲化灰巖及(真)白堊.綜閤各國學者的有關研究資料,建議將白堊狀結構化定義為:"碳痠鹽沉積物和碳痠鹽巖中的鎂方解石和文石在不同成巖階段通過新生變形而轉變成低鎂方解石微晶和微亮晶格架,併在其中產生和保存晶間孔喉網絡的作用;彊化白堊狀結構化是指微晶和微亮晶格架受到進一步溶蝕和淋濾,從而形成次生溶蝕孔隙網絡的作用".論述瞭世界各地的地史中不同成巖階段白堊狀結構碳痠鹽巖成巖環境的例證和白堊狀結構化成因.

Chalky texture carbonate is a kind of white-or light-colored, loose, friable and porous limestone. Chalky texture limestone in a narrow sense is referred to chalky microporous mudstone and wackestone formed in deep-water basin, shelf slope and intraplatform restricted marine (such as lagoonal) environment. Chalky texture limestone in a broad sense is referred to that formed of various sedimentary fabrics of every sedimentary unit, including reefs and banks,, of shelf and basinal facies. The limestone includes chalky de-dolomitized limestone and (true) chalk. The authors have summarized relevant data studied by overseas scientists and suggested the definition of chalky texture formation as " Chalky texture formation refers to that magnesium calcite and aragonite are transformed into the framework of micrite and microspar of low-magnesium calcite via neomorphism, and result in and maintain intercrystalline pore and throat networks in it; enhanced chalky texture formation refers to that the micrite and microspar are successively subjected to dissolution and leaching, so that the secondary network of solution voids is formed".We discussed diagenetic environment cases in point of chalky texture carbonates and geneses of chalky texture, formed in different diagenetic stages in some parts of the world in the geohistory.
