In this paper,a 8086 computer-on-a-chip system architecture was described,a SD card hardware interface was applied to connect the 8086 computer-on-a-chip with SD card.A method of debugging between software and hardware can fast debug SD card functionality.FPGA based test shows that procedure of the design can be reduced and lots of time can be saved by using SD card as 8086 computer-on-a-chip's hard disk.
