Objective To observe the effect of biofeedback stimulation on the rehabilitation of lower limb movement disorders in children with spastic diplegic cerebral palsy. Methods A total of 37 children with spastic diplegic cerebral palsy were randomly divided into control group and intervention group which was included 20 and 17 case respectively. Both groups were received regular rehabilitation and drug treatments. On this basis, the patients in intervention group was also received biofeedback electric stimulation therapy,D item and E item of Gross Motor Function Measure (GMFM) were used to assess the lower limb motor function in children with cerebral palsy before and after the intervention. Results Before and after the rehabilitation treatment, the differences in the scores of D item and E item were statistically significant in both groups (P < 0.01 ),and the efficacy in intervention group was superior to that of control group (P <0.05).Conclusions Biofeedback electric stimulation therapy with regular comprehensive rehabilitation treatments can improve the motor function of lower limb in children with cerebral palsy significantly.
