由于矩阵变换器的拓扑结构和传统的电压源逆变器不同,各个IGBT模块的c-e极电压和电流分配都是在变化的,各管的损耗也同时在变化,VSI的开关损耗分析不能适用于矩阵变换器。本文在电压型换流法的各个开关模态的基础上,分析了每个开关过程的传导损耗、开通损耗和关断损耗,通过计算机累加仿真求得了MC总的开关损耗。仿真可知传导损耗为与输出频率有关的周期函数;不同的调制方法、开关频率对开通和关断损耗的影响很大,对传导损耗几乎没有影响;只有少数几种调制方法可以得到损耗的解析解,大多数方法需要仿真计算求开关损耗。

Power loss analysis on bi-directional switches is one of basic steps for evaluation of the reliability of matrix converter(MC).Since power topologies and switching rules of MC are quite different from voltage source inverter(VSI),loss analysis methods used for power switches of VSI topology cannot be applied to MC.The collector-emitter voltage Vce of IGBT modules are not constant and current distribution in each power device changes at each instant switching.The conduction loss,turn-on loss and turn-off loss is simulated by the computer based on semi natural two steps commutation strategy.It can be obtained that the conduction loss is a periodic function concerned with output frequency,the different modulation strategies and carrier frequency can influence the turn-on loss and turn-off loss not to the conduction loss,only several modulation strategies can get analytic solution of switch loss,most modulation strategies need simulation.
