论述了高校进行马克思主义宗教观教育的重要性：马克思主义宗教观是马克思主义理论的重要组成部分，是对当代大学生“信仰”引领的需要，有利于大学生深刻认识宗教的本质及作用。阐述了高校马克思主义宗教观教育的内涵：认识马克思主义宗教观一脉相承的理论体系，引导大学生认识宗教的起源、本质及作用，了解我国关于宗教问题的基本政策与基本方针。认为高校马克思主义宗教观教育的方法与路径是：开设“宗教学”等相关课程，引导大学生树立“科学无神论”的世界观，全面提升大学生的科学文化素养。
