高校英语教师教学中或多或少会遇到困境与问题,自我决定理论与英语教学有着重要相关性,教师的自我决定理念对教师专业自主发展具有独特意义。从高校英语教师的自主定向、控制定向和非个人定向三个方面阐释高校英语教师自我发展的内涵。针对高校英语教学存在的现状与问题,从建构的角度给高校英语教师提出了一些建议:进行批判性的教学反思,增强专业自主性,培养英语教师的问题意识,完善英语教师专业发展理念。

From analysis of difficulties and problems of college English teachers teaching, under the guidance of self-determination theory ( SDT ) importance of teachers' autonomy , this paper explores relationship between SDT and college English teaching and decision towards teachers' professional development. From three aspects of their self-realization, controlling and permissive, college English teachers' teaching under the guidance of self-determi- nation theory, the conation of college English teachers' self-determination is illustrated. Facing with existing prob- lems and present situations, some suggestions are given to college English teachers from a cognitive and constructive view, which include building critical teaching reflection, enhancing the professional autonomy; training the prob- lem awareness for English teachers; improving concepts of professional development.
