IEEE1588是一种网络测量与控制系统的精确时间同步协议,已成为智能变电站主要的网络同步技术,其网络对时精度可达ns级。文章介绍了IEEE1588标准定义的高精度时钟同步的原理,针对自带高精度硬件时间戳的冷火MCF54418芯片,给出IEEE1588软硬件系统结构图及其实现方法。IEEE1588在最终测试过程中完成100ns以内的时钟精度,MCF54418在不损失性能的前提下简化了实现复杂性,降低了实现成本,具有相当广阔的应用前景。

IEEE1588 is the IEEE standard for a precision clock synchronization protocol for network measurement and control systems, has become the key time-synchronization technology in Smart Grid, and can achieve time-synchronization accuracy in the nanosecond range. This paper introduces the principle of high precision clock synchronization. For MCF54418 which has additional feature support- ing IEEE1588 timestamp logic for network-triggered event recognition and generation, this paper demonstrates IEEE1588 software and hardware system structure diagrams and its realization. IEEE1588 can realize time-synchronization accuracies of under 100 ns in the test. MCF54418 without loss of performance simplifys the complexity and reduces the implementation cost, showing a broad prospect of appli- cation.
