The physiological and biochemical characteristics on Angelica sinensis(Oliv) Diels callus tissue before and after browning were studied according to the determination of nitratase activity, soluble protein content, reducing sugar content and malondialdehyde content.The results showed that browning had significant effect on the activity of of Angelica sinensis (Oliv) Diels callus tissue.
