The principle parameters and the characteristics of the designs for the 50 t-50 m quayside container cranes are presented in the paper.The crane incorporates double trapezoid box girders with the front stays f ixed with eccentric bushes.Rubber spacers are placed between the base of steel r ails and the rail beams.The front and rear girders are hinged with primary and a uxiliary hinged structures in order to make sure that the trolley travels smooth ly over the hinged joints in the girders with heavy loads at high speed.
