The paper presents a novel ZCT soft-switching PWM converter: the main switch is turned off under zero-current, and the auxiliary switch is turned on and off under zero-current. It is very attractive for high power application wh e re IGBT is predominantly used as the power switches. Theoretical analysis, param eters selection, computer simulation and experimental results are presented to explain the proposed scheme.
