Rare earth polymer not only has the light-emitting characteristics of rare earth metal, but also has the polymer good properties of easy to bend, process and form. Herein, the advance in rare earth polymer materials and Eu~(3+) & Tb~(3+) polymer application in the field of electroluminescence were reviewed.
