Urease is one of the main enzymes in the soil, which is also the only kind of enzyme to affect the transformation and action of carbamide in the soil. The effects of different chemical pesticides on activity of urease are different. The affects of different chemical pesticides (herbicide, insecticide and bactericide, etc.) on activity of soil urease and related research progress were summarized to provide a reference for rational use of pesticides and protection of agro-ecological environment.
