The eukaryotic translation initiation factor 3(eIF-3)complex consists of multiple subunits and plays an important role in eukaryotic translation initiation.It has been found in recent years that,various subunits of eIF3 are abnormally express in tumors,which is closely related to tumor invasiveness,metastasis,differentiation,and prognosis of cancer.Therefore,eIF-3 may be hopeful as a potential anti-cancer therapeutic target.
