Biodiesel as environment-friendly fuel can resolve the problem of energy shortage.There are many advantages of biodiesel production catalyzed by lipase such as mild reaction conditions and easy separation of products without pollution to the environment.In the paper,enzyme-catalyzed biodiesel is reviewed from the point of view of increasing yield of fatty acid ester and reducing production costs.
