This paper introduces a distributed position servo system based on CAN bus, using the PLC with CAN interface the main controller. The distributed control terminals are composed of single-chip AT89C52, CAN controller AN82527, and so on. The system has been used in the product field successfully, and application shows that it is simpler, easier to realize and more reliable.
