Based on the advantages of CATIA three-dimension design, a desktop layout platform for each functional part of fire engine was established according to assembly compliance relation by filiation mode, and a orientation plane and control sketch of sub-parts in layout file of key assembly body was built for convenience managing product and all the componets. This help conveniently adjust configuration layout, change product shape, monitor and control mass distribution and optimize design scheme to get a highly efficient, precise and high quality design effect.
