新型工业化道路离不开产业结构的优化升级，中国今后的经济发展方式必须由原先的粗放式向集约式发展转变，由外源式发展向内源式发展转变，由环境污染型，资源消耗型向环境保护型，资源节约型转变，这也正是中国新型工业化道路的内涵，以信息化带动工业化，实现产业结构优化升级，推动经济发展方式转变。
