Based on the actual situation of the container terminal and ship,a new integer programming model for container loading sequence is established with constraining the rate of retrieving the containers and aiming container ship's stability.Meanwhile,a new solution algorithm is presented on the basis of particle swarm optimization,the numerical results show that the algorithm is effective and practical.
