垂体特异性转录因子1((Pituitary Specific Transcription Factorl,POU1F1)基因是POU基因家族的成员之一,时哺乳动物生长发育、新陈代谢起主要的调控作用。采集116头份新疆褐牛血样,利用PCR-RFLP技术检测POU1F1基因第六外显子的多态性,分析不同基因型与生长性状的相关性。结果表明:新疆褐牛的POUIFI基因第六外显子Hinfl位点有多态性,新疆褐牛群体在该位点上处于HaZy—Weinberg平衡状态,等位基因A/B的频率分别为0.375/0.625。3种不同基因型闻个体出生体质量及1-5月龄体质量的差异不显著(P〉0.05),而BB基因型6月龄体质量与AA基因型差异显著(P〈0.05)。

POU class 1 homeobox 1 (POU1F1) is a member of the tissue-specific POU-containing transcription factor family. Through the PCR-RFLP,we studied the POU1F1 gene with early growth traits were analyzed in 116 Xinjiang Brown Cattle. The results showed that the POUIF1 had three genotypes and two alleles, which were at the Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium. The frequency of alleles A/B in the Xinjiang Brown Cattle population is 0.375/0.625.
