瘦素是主要在脂肪组织中表达的脂肪因子,其作用有多效性,近来研究显示瘦素对骨代谢的调节也发挥重要作用.临床试验中关于瘦素与骨密度之间的相关性目前尚未得出一致结论.瘦素可以通过中枢作用、交感神经系统、外周作用等途径调节骨代谢.其中血清素、神经介素U、神经肽Y是瘦素通过中枢作用调节骨代谢的重要介质.另外,瘦素对骨代谢的效应与其血浆水平相关.瘦素对骨代谢的调节可能为骨质疏松的治疗提供新的方向.

Leptin,an adipokine deriving mainly from adipose tissue,demonstrates pleiotropic effects.Recent studies show that it emerges as a significant factor in the regulation of bone metabolism.However,it is still controvesial of the relationship between leptin and bone mineral density (BMD)in clinical trials.Leptin can regulate bone metabolism by central pathways,peripheral pathways and sympathetic nervous system.In central pathways,serotonin,neuromedin U and neuropeptide Y are key mediators in the regulation of leptin on bone metabolism.In additon,the overall effect of leptin on bone metabolism might depend on serum leptin concentrations.The regulation of leptin on bone metabolism may provide a new direction for the treatment of osteoporosis.
