甘,是先民通过采集劳动获得的最早的味觉快感,这种快感是后世先民形成审美能力的起点;熏,不仅是先民创造关味的最早实践,也是人类最早的审美实践。随着先民认识世界能力的提高,先民对关味的创造逐渐转移到对服饰、器用、自身形象及舞蹈、音乐、诗歌等方面的关的创造。由美味而至关,这是中国美学发展史上的一大转折,它是自然美向社会关过渡的重要标志。

Sweetness is primarily a taste pleasure that ancient people got from gathering work, which gives birth to the formation of aesthetic judgment later; Fumigation is not only the earliest practice of creating great taste but also the aesthetic practice of human being. With more knowledge of the world, ancient people shift their aesthetic creation from tasty food to clothing, utensil, self - image, dance, music, poetry. The shift from appreciation of tasty food to appreciation of beautify is a turning point in Chinese aesthetic development, which marks the transition from natural beauty to social beauty.
