This paper indroduced fundamental principle,materials'characteristics and refrigeration property of a kind of semiconductor refrigerating technology differing from traditional refrigerating method,as well as the advantages compared with traditional method was also involved.As far as the developed miniature type of refrigerating device is concerned,technology prospect and dey issues on over-temperature protection of projector's light source and relevant key components were expounded in the end.
