Foreign language instruction platform is a software system with multi--functions varying from resources management, computer assisted instruction and online language testing to the websites of courses, aiming to establish an interactive teaching and learning community to realize digitalization of the teaching network and resources integration. Its effect on college English courses lies in such as- pects as teaching environment and model, ways of learning and evaluation, teachers＇ development and administration, etc. There remain some issues and problems to be discussed and solved.
