“心主神明”说由来已久,是中医脏象学说的主流观念,但“脑主神明”论也是中国文化的传统思想,先秦至清代的医书和非医学古籍中大量关于脑的记载,反映了古人对于脑与精神之关系的认识不断深入.我们应当在实践中正确认识脑在人体生命活动中的重要地位,不断发展“脑主神明”的传统理论,明确头脑与太极、阴阳、五行、脏腑、经络、官窍的关系,为脑病的临床诊疗提供理论指导.
