There will be many problems in the design and construction of vertical shaft when it passes through the worked-out mine area. This article discussed rock migration and the pressure initiation rules based on the case of He Cheng mine project. The influence on construction of the well chamber from worked-out mine area is determined through computation of geostatic pressure and well chamber thickness and the data of the influence on the distortion of vertical shaft well chamber can provide an effective information for the construction. Based on the above given, it discussed the well chamber pressure test result and the construction technology plan. It can serve as important guide to the similar projects.
