The specialist and criterion calculated model is embedded into GIS for forming a collected system,which includes geotechnical engineering,field evaluation and groundwater evaluation.This system can complete the engineering gelogical evaluation task with high efficiency and high quality.In this thesis,the achieve function,database design and advantage of spatial simulation information system of engineering geological evaluation based on GIS are introduced,and the function of the system is demonstrated by an example,which validate the feasibility and practicability of the system.
