对采用SHS/PHIP技术制备的C_f/TiC-TiB_2陶瓷基复合材料中存在短切碳纤维损伤严重,补强增韧效果不明显的原因进行分析研究.研究发现:在B_4C+3Ti+C_f体系的SHS反应过程中,由于反应温度太高,使短切碳纤维表面的碳原子与钛粉之间发生化学反应,造成短切碳纤维表面的化学损伤,影响短切碳纤维的性能,进而影响其补强增韧的效果.在SHS反应过程中,防止或减少短切碳纤维化学损伤的主要途径就是添加稀释剂来降低反应温度.在B_4C+3Ti+_xC_f→TiC+2TiB_2+xC_f体系中,通过向反应物中添加稀释剂镍可以有效地防止或减少短切碳纤维的化学损伤,改善各相之间的接触状况,提高各相之间的界面强度,提高短切碳纤维补强增韧的效果.

The reason of the seriously damaged carbon fiber and no obvious strengthening-toughening effect for C_f/TiC-TiB_2 ceramic matrix composites prepared by the SHS/PHIP technology was analyzed and researched.The results show that reaction temperature is too hiigh in the SHS reaction process of B4_C+3Ti+C_f system,chemical reactions Occur between the carbon atom and the titanium powder of carbon fiber,which cause damage to the carbon fiber surface and affect performance of carbon fiber,and the strengthening-toughening effect.In the SHS reaction process,decreasing reaction temperature is the main way to prevent or reduce chemical damage of the carbon fiber.And the effective method of decreasing reaction temperature is adding diluent.In the B_4C+3Ti+xC_f→TiC+2TiB_2+xC_f system,adding the diluent of nickel to reactants can prevent or reduce the chemical damage of the carbon fiber,ameliorate the contact status among the phases,increase the interfacial strength among the phases,thus improving the effect of strengthening-toughening of the carbon fiber.
