Through the damage research on around the world typical bridge in recent years,this paper summarized the reason of earthquake disasters,and elaborated the correct seismic design methods,in order to improve the safety of bridge under the action of earthquake,eased the seismic losses,and provided strong protection for post-earthquake transportation lifeline smooth of earthquake areas and the smoothly carried out of disaster relief work.
