A kind of smart card watt-hour meter based on RTX51 multitask real-time operating system is introduced,the hardware structure of which includes a MCU of STC 12LECSA60S2. Single-phase electric energy measurement chip of ADE7755 is used to measure electric energy. In order to store the electric energy, the ferroelectric memory FM25C160 has been used. Through the ADE7755, electric energy is stored in the memory, at the same time it will compare with the user's power consumption. If the electric energy is not enough to be used, the sound and light alarm system will warn the user to charge it smart cards.
